Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Honestly - the only reason I'm slightly disappointed they aren't exactly as tall/slightly taller than their female counterparts, is I'd pre-planned a viera man quite some months back before we even got the official notice they were gonna be a Thing in EW. And as per usual I tend to pre-plan my male characters to be as tall as would make sense for their race. So he should have been pushing 7'.

But that isn't the end of the world for me, and neither is us not having slightly "older" face options (think the 2 face options - "matured" and older - male miqo'te have, I like those most). The fact they exist at all is what's important to me, and this is what personal IC choices come down to - making what you want, whether or not the in-game limitations give it to you.

People are fine to dislike the options we have and not plan to roll one/fantasia, but like... still think their height not being to some weird arbitrary standard of "tall" is a silly reason not to play them. Just crank the height to maximum and you'll still be taller than most other races aside from Roegadyn and male Au Ra.

To be honest I do wish they were lalafell size. I concede that I lost. Yoshi-P did not feel the meme potential. Showing that beast race was a tease though.

Not going to lie I get appearance is subjective but most the male buns I have seen look off. Idk if it is the angles or lighting but most of them look like unreal more akin to dolls. Far too perfect I guess hard to explain.

Oh, my friend used to have some of those dolls. I never liked them but obviously she did. It was basically a physical version of what we do when playing around with characters and glamours, after all – different appearances for different tastes.

I don't think Viera have the same type of faces, and I find the dolls creepy in a way that Viera aren't, but I can see where you'd draw the similarities if you more broadly dislike the style.

the height is a little disappointing but i'll live the one thing that generally disappoints me with Viera design as a whole (this is female included) Is that they are just pretty elf with rabbit ears. I wish they tried to do a bit more like at minimum include rabbit tails maybe some fluff in places claws etc. but that's just me nit picking at what is a bit of a trope that I wish Final would at least tried a little harder on.

I like them. I love my bun boy alt I'm glad those who love them love them.

(And yes before someone points out that im playing a hyur saying my nit pick is the bunnies are just human with animal ears my character is a hyur cause there ported from a dnd character XD there is nothing wrong with humans or playing them either.)

I am soo happy, they are handsome yet there are options to make them feminine. If male Viera can wear hats and get more hairstyles, then I will stay as one.
