Nobody forces you to clear Savage week 1. It's not running away. Your shiny new armor and weapons and all the other stuff will still be waiting for you to collect after christmas.

I know savage isnt going anywhere however trying to do it week 1 is a whole different experience because its a time where people come up with their own strats and try to solve the puzzles on their own. its a really unique experience that raiders get only 3 chances to experience per expansion.

No, it wasn't an oversight, like you said, JP develops based on JP interests and they don't really give 2 yen about "Christmas" time. Yoshi-P says clear your schedule, well you better choose one or the other.

Youd think theyd at least consider one of the most widely celebrated holidays in the entire world though? A very significant portion of their players arent japanese. even some japanese players on social media have expressed to have issue with the scheduled savage release.

Its very possible to solve the puzzle yourself and develope your own strats way after week one - my very casual static has been doing that for years. Its as simple as not looking at a guide... As long as you stick to that, you can have that unique experience with a fight thats new to you at anytime. Someone who hasnt looked up anything about Coil could have that unique experience with T13 today.
