The time is justified by the developers' own interest in it as content challenging to design and complete (which helps to keep top developers invested in their jobs), and the publicity/interest it generates when the world first race is going on.I mean OP has a point. I’ve cleared ultimates and while fun I just don’t see how the devs justify the development time of this content. All it does is give people an ego boost with their Legend titles and shiny weapons, tbh i think if ultimates stay they should remove all rewards because 9 times out of 10 the toxic player has a Perfect Legend title and UWU weapon
Make the reward purely the clear, maybe a cool cutscene or something. It’ll drop participation even more but hey I think that’s a fair trade off of it prevents these shinies from getting to the raider’s heads
They also don't prioritize Ultimate over other content. It's developed and tested around their other scheduled work (why the second Ultimate planned for this expansion never happened thanks to COVID disruption). They rely heavily on game assets they already have from past content to reduce how much time is needed for its development.
I doubt that dropping it as content is going to do much to satisfy insatiable player demand for more content in general.
The only toxic players I've met with a Legend title are the ones who have clearly bought it from the RMT traders because they can't figure out to avoid death from common mechanics in other content then complain about how terrible everyone else is.
While this is probably a troll thread - stop asking for content to be cut for other content. No content should be cut for other content IMO. There are many people who play this game who have many different interests as well as skill levels. Even if you don't do certain content, you shouldn't be asking for it to be cut just to get more of what you personally want. You aren't the only one playing this game. Asking for more of what you want is valid - just not for content you don't do to be cut to try and get it.
Logical deduction.
People who have cleared ultimate don't talk about the experience like that.
No max level characters, possible forum alt.
Hiding achievements.
Became defensive when questioned.
Intentionally misrepresented my stance on the issue to strawman me.
Classic nervous "LMAO", "Lol", "Lel" trying to hide behind laughter because avoiding the question and or lying is funny. Politicians do it all the time.
Sided stepped the accusation instead of disproving it.
Has not provided any evidence of clearing.
This all points to someone wanting to hide behind the status of clearing ultimate to reduce the backlash of disparaging it while also purposefully skewing their stance on the issue to misrepresent the side they're arguing from.
