Yeah, at the very least it would appear to be the person on the whale camping over every npc and click spot Asmon needed was banned for 9 days. They won't try to ban everyone crowding him but they are clearly watching and have shown they will deal with the most egregarious violations.

but lets face it... he made $30,000 USD for one stream

I think he's a big enough boy to deal with it and hardly deserve sympathy.

it sucks that some people are like that yes, but its hardly the entire FFXIV community doing this, most of us actually play the game, not enough bandwidth to harass a streamer if we even cared.

I have no idea who this streamer is, nor do I care, but... With all the fuss regarding this person on the forums of late, I was a bit curious. I happened to check out his first day's footage on Youtube and the behavior of the individuals involved as he was trying to quest was unacceptable. Hopefully, there are more suspensions to come. Regardless of how people feel about this streamer, whether it's brought on or not, let the person play the game. It's not complicated.

I really hope Asmon brings attention to this on stream. It would be enough to deter at least some players or make them more mindful about how obstructive they're being.

the unfortunate part is the way people think. fans think its always the "other" people causing the problems, hopefully it deters some of course, since playing like that is never fun, but I suspect that the people actually trying to interfere wont care and will run the risk.

God forbid if Yoshi P logged onto Cactuar for a visit and news got around. Is he sure he wants to implement the cross world visits?

He could always use the Firmament for his visits so nobody can enter except people who are from that world if he wanted to. Assuming this stuff is still world locked.
