"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
And doing a fair bit of ignoring people.
I've gone back through this thread and see you've been blanking people who have asked how adding rent is supposed to make apartments more appealing, and I think MilkieTea is still waiting for an apology.
Ok, so think through why would I be doing that intentionally (and no it's not trolling).
Never gonna happen, they were in the wrong and they know it.
Because ignoring counterpoints is a good way to privately pretend you're winning an argument. Nearly every responder has said "the permanence of apartments is the best thing about them, removing this is unacceptable, this idea is bad and SE should not consider it." And you seem to think if you don't acknowledge any of us and just keep saying unrelated things, you're covered.
Milkie asked you directly what you think this will improve. Jojoya has asked you. I have asked you. You aren't answering us because you don't have an answer. It wouldn't make anything better, and you're fully aware of that.
I did think about it, but couldn't put 2 and 2 together. That's why I asked what the thought process was. Perhaps it should be obvious, but I just don't understand.
Wether someone is right or wrong we should treat each other kindly.
And if my mind has changed on the matter and there's nothing to discuss...
Which means we also shouldn't play the victim for sympathy when we're in the wrong, and own our mistakes.
Changed your mind?
Gotcha gotcha.
But can you please still explain your initial thought process for me?
And which part of you mind has changed? Because it sounds like you're still behind the idea of rent?
Nothing about this thread screams about genuine suggestion to improve the game. A rent of any form isn't a solution for anything or a "gilsink" as you tried to label it into.
Seems very much as a bait thread to me (and other's).
Uh huh.
