What is deemed Feminine or Masculine/ attractive or unattractive/ Conventional or Non-Conventional by design is always dependent on societies views. It grows and changes over time because it's a social construct. There is nothing wrong with a woman or man not conforming to societies views on what is attractive/ Feminine/ Masculine, and everyone can have their own personal taste/ views.

But if we're talking about making a playable race in a game, yeah, that's something you gotta think about.

You're asking for this furry race to appeal to a very, VERY small niche so that you can get the body shape that you like, when it can actually have a much larger appeal to it's core demographic who currently has zero options.
You're saying that the aesthetics furries like "doesn't matter" because they will mindlessly go to the furry option and be happy, which is flat out WRONG as seen in this game already ("if you want a tall woman, you'll just take what you can get" right? Where did all these Viera come from?) and as seen in other games like GW2 with how Female Charr are the least played thing in GW2 compared to the much more popular Males.

It's really as simple as that. You can want what you want, but there's a big difference between making something with decent player engagement and making something that's even less played than FemRoe.

They're already going to be played less because anthro characters are not popular to begin with. You could give them super model bodies and they will still not be popular. You are arguing such a weird point of "engagement" when we all know being branded furry already sets them up to not hit the high numbers. You could look at ESO where the Khajiit have a full range of buff to lithe, cute to savage, and have top racials, and the only bulk of people playing them are pushing cutting edge content. Dwarfed by everyone else.

That's just the reality, and I'm sure SE understands. That's why they hadn't made a beast race until now (and other issues, but this is generally the idea against making them in mmos). They know and are still making them, and they will be designed in their vision.

Also, The Gunnhildr model is a fem roe with the Sophia body. Not a female hrothgar. We should not base what they will look like on that npc.

I really don't care how popular a race is; I just want to see alternatives to human-with-novelty-ears. Even if I rarely see them, I'd appreciate walking through town and seeing one there.

yeah dude even if fem roes are quite rare, i once had a duty roulette and got thrown together with 3 other roe ladies. was really a cool experience!

jokes aside, i really hope we get something more different for hrothgals too. we already have lizard waifu, cute cat girls and tall bunny beauties. i just want them feral/intimidating and not just hairy miqo‘te. even if they are rarer, i wouldn‘t care much, would still bring more fresh air into the races.

Hrothgar are literally more popular than Roe and a number of other options (Female Elezen/ Highlanders) in this game. Are they "Popular"? No, but they have a respectable player base.
I can list off example after example, but if you think a furry race should end up with a fraction of a population just to service the fraction of players who want something buffer than FemRoe there's really nothing we can agree with. Like I said, best we don't talk.

I never said anyone was "wrong" to "speculate" or even want something. Would be nice if "not agreeing with someone's PoV" didn't equate to "SILENCE! You're wrong!" in people's mind.

The game gives us something to speculate about, but some people ignore it because they don't like the shape. Simple as that, really.

That looks really close, but also an upscale of the model? I think a fun hunt would be to look for all the instances of SE reusing that rig.
