You benefiting off of the collective gains of others hard work IS leeching. Justify it however you want, it’s leeching. You’re leeching.

If even one person uses an essence in the run, the others in the run are leeching off of that one person who is choosing to put in extra work to make the run go slightly faster. If you’re having 45 min runs, you’re leeching off of the works of others. If you don’t want to benefit off of others work and effort, then go and join groups that don’t use essences, so you can freely enjoy your hours long grind for one weapon.

By that logic you're leeching off of everyone who shows up with better essence/lost action setups than you have. Everyone who isn't in the number 1 DPS spot is a leech.

Leeching isn't simply benefitting from someone who's generating more output than you are. Leeching is expecting everyone to generate more output than you so you can benefit, and I don't expect that from anyone.
