I thought it was pretty good too. I think people don't like learning new things, even if it's better than the old way. Especially after they're used to doing old way for so long.
It has nothing to do with "learning new things" [subterfuge insult FTW!] it had to do with the fact they removed the up/down party list quick targeting. Prior to patch the up/down was party members....left/right was all targets. This made healing while casting offensive magic very easy. Post patch, you had to constantly change targeting modes back and fourth from "party" to "enemy"[or whatever] or leave it on "all" BUT pressing up/down changed targeting mode not select party members anymore....
in short it was a nightmare for a lot of healers, thank heavens they fixed it, while leaving in the option for the way you guys like it too. OPTIONS ftw!
Why thank you, I try my best!
Anyway, I have no problems with them giving you the option to choose with system you want to use, to each their own. But I just never found it hard to switch between PARTY and ENEMY, then pressing left and right to select your target.
You do realize you can STILL select heals in Enemy targeting, and it only cycles through your party right? So I'm not understanding the problem here. I see Enemy targeting more of like "Combat mode"
