Absolutely right.
Things I did during the cutscenes when I still had jobs to level:
Taxes, laundry, cleaning dishes, calling my parents, watching anime, taking a quick shower....
Everyone who is complaining is just not good in time management.
Un-skippable cutscenes is the only way to keep them active enough for new players to get clears.
Don't like it? Don't run it. As other mentioned it's a good time to do other things during the cutscenes. Or catch up on a YT series you've fallen behind on. I know HCBailey's FF15 LP videos are around an hour so get the popcorn and tune into that whenever you run prae.
If they're skipable we lose the bonus exp, which imo its not worth losing.
Also for every new player the experience would be the same as old when they would go into it and wonder why are they in a cutscene for 40min but they didnt even get past the start or even did anything.
( this happened to me when i started i didnt have any idea of what had happened, and was not even into the strory at the time, so for a new player that is, i hope you can see how this would not be good )
Agree with most of the comments here, but is there any reason cutscenes shouldn't be skippable when doing undersized party (such as a solo run)?
Because people used to want to run it quick and get their reward, now it just becoming a micro pause , especially in Prae.
