Yeah I'm not sure what it is but I more often than not have trouble with scholars. I've met one that said they were "ass at sch" but did rather well, but then that run in the Vault I had an 80 SCH that couldn't keep me up. Like, did you forget how the class works at 57 or something? idk. We tried four times on that last boss before they left. They just kept standing in stuff. Vuln stacks on the second boss, bleeds on the last one. Wouldn't cleanse the bleeds, so it eventually killed them. It was just Hell in a handbasket.

I prefer to think it's not me, my cds are always refreshing and AST/WHM have no issues. I just don't know what the problem is.

Now to slog through 59.

Could also be a SMN main trying out healer, except they're trying out a healer they power levelled to 80 through SMN and therefore they're missing the 50 levels of experience that leveling SCH would give them so they're floundering around with no idea what their kit does.

Bonus points if they've straight up NEVER healed before and are trying to pick up SCH without realizing that if you don't know what you're doing it's hard to pick up healing without those 50 levels of experience playing SCH.

Paladin in Darkhold invented a novel new rotation. Im angry that aggro is so easy to hold now that it worked.

As follows:

Riot Blade -> Total Eclipse -> Riot Blade -> Fast Blade -> Total Eclipse -> (start over from here)

In between that, he would just randomly hit defensive cooldowns, sometimes multiple at once. Provoke, Low Blow and Interject were all used the second they cooled down. I should have said something, but I think maybe I was stunned silent?

SCH certainly has the biggest learning curve. I think there's a lot of new SCH that don't realize damage mitigation is part of it's heal kit. It requires pre-emptive healing more than reactive healing though the pets help with that somewhat.

That sounds like a tank we had in wanderer's palace who simply walked up to enemies and hit them with the combo starter to get aggro or just ran past them and assumed the aggro they got from triggering them was fine. It was not fine. Nor was the Ice Mage they had with them. Thankfully it was myself and a friend and we just...shored up our legs and carried them both. No wipes. \o/

The rest of us completed the DR at a relatively quick time, and had no issues so...

I've had some Dal runs like that. Someone flipped out and was whining the whole time that we weren't going to make it when I was healing when I needed to on RDM, other half had healing lost actions and someone else was tanking that wasn't in our party. We made it no problem.

I managed to get to 61 but don't have the gear to run dungeons yet. Gonna run on DNC and hoard fending gear I get. Most of my runs people pass all loot for some reason.

Honestly, I've seen better non healers using essences to heal with than actual healers at times. It is more than doable.

I had a PF run where both WHM's went Profane and one of the dps healed with Cure IV because it triggers aoe Bravery with Elder essence. Smooth 0 death run where bosses just melted.
