The lore is much better in WoW, but require many different medias to understand, like how Dark Souls lore is deep and not only in the games.

Yeah I was talking mostly about story telling, as in how it is done in the actual game. WoW has a vast lore spread across different media which I enjoy aswell.
The few cut scenes(cinematics) in the game hardly do it any justice though, this is where FFXIV shines.
