No one fault than your own. It/was pasted all over lodestone and social media.I have 60 pageantry tomestones and when I woke up today I realized I can't even trade it in. No one told me that you can't trade in pageantry tomestones after the event and there is literally NO message in the game telling you you can't do so after the event is over. The moogle tomestone shops still allow you to trade in tomestones from previous events. This is highly misleading and is a super shady business tactic. Reopen the pageantry store now. There is no reason not to especially since the past events are all the same. Developers please do it immediately and next time before you pull something like this on the players at least write it in the game not some website that no one visits.
Now you just must be trolling. Copy links that SE put in their game? Come on now.I don't waste my time clicking on the ads in the launcher or copying URL links to get scammed. Some people (like me) actually play the game instead of going on the forums or Twitter to spend an entire hour reading about one event. Guess the same cannot be said of the professional forum users.
That means literally nothing. So if you registered a forum account years ago but never post, makes you sus?
My old account was registered like 2013 or something with less than 100 posts, that means i'm sus?
I'm not using that account since they can't handle PC and Steam version on same account so when I moved over to Steam couple years ago I had to start a new account.

I mean, maybe learn to read the plethora of warnings about when the event actually ends? Pretty sure on the page for them they even mentioned after the cut-off, you couldn't turn them in like prior moogle tomes. To be blunt, no thank you. I have no desire to get involved in forum politics and I'll be taking my leave now that I've added my voice to the others asking for these items to return. I don't care if they're trolling or not when everyone I know in my own circle of friends who play this game also got surprised by this. It's a bit weird to have this one specific event behave differently than all the others, even if they did mention it would. You kind of have to be looking for a detail like that, if you don't use twitter for the warning they sent out on there, like I don't because I dislike social media, and my very short time on this forum is serving as a good reminder of why.
People caught off guard by all this come off like the same sorts who would click on those fake forum links being spammed by hacked accounts. A little reading gets you everywhere.
Anyway, daily reminder that Venandi is yet another forum troll and to move on.
They aren't gonna, because they specifically did say both the tomes and the exchange would be going away at the end of the event. Technically speaking, it's on us for not reading the fine print.
But I do agree in that this was a bad change for them to make anyway, because as most of us know, they had set a precedent with all the previous moogle tome events -- a precedent that led many people into thinking the exchange would still be available simply because that's how it's worked for the previous events.
There really wasn't anything good that was going to come out of SE "altering the deal" like this.
We're not surprised because most of us saw warnings in the launcher, warnings here on the forum, I believe a warning when you log on and a warning yesterday from friendly users at the Moogle to spend now before it went away. I had on at least four different instances seen a very clear warning about this. At some point it's no longer a 'they didn't warn us' issue and instead a 'i can't be bothered to pay any modicum of attention' issue. Oh also, Venandi does nothing but post rants and hot takes, ergo, with the troll epidemic on this forum, it is very easy to lob someone like Venandi in as 'just another one of them'.For real, guys? Why are you being so rude about this? I actually got taken off-guard by this myself. I already bought everything I wanted, but I was expecting to spend my leftovers when the event ended like every other event so far. I came on to upvote what I expected to be a thread of other people surprised that this one isn't working the same way as all the others had.
Instead I got people who seem to be... relishing in the misfortune to take the opportunity to be arrogant and snide about it and accusing people of trolling.
It wouldn't hurt you one bit if they re-added these tomestone items to the moogle who hangs out there at all times anyway.
I'm not gonna lose sleep about this but if y'all wanna take this opportunity to feel superior to other people, you do you, I guess.
Some people just have very little so they grandstand on stuff like this to feel special and important. That means literally nothing. So if you registered a forum account years ago but never post, makes you sus?

Even if we assume, it join the 1st, that's a total of 46 days. So, FYI, to be active on the forum you need to post more than 1,78 messages per day. Which is not a prime number by the way.
I did not see these warnings. I don't go to the lodestone often (who does?), this is my first time logging into the forums, and I don't use social media hardly at all. The warning that is on the post for the event was overlooked. I feel like it could have been put at the top in bold since it was a change from the norm, instead of the majority of the way down the page. i don t remember seeing anything about a warning at the login. where did this show up?We're not surprised because most of us saw warnings in the launcher, warnings here on the forum, I believe a warning when you log on and a warning yesterday from friendly users at the Moogle to spend now before it went away. I'm really sad I missed this. i generally read all the patch notes, but i overlooked this somehow, and so did everyone I routinely hang around in game. i just expected that it woudl be like all the previous moogle events i have ever seen ever and i could spend them when it was over like i have every time.
