To be blunt, no thank you. I have no desire to get involved in forum politics and I'll be taking my leave now that I've added my voice to the others asking for these items to return. I don't care if they're trolling or not when everyone I know in my own circle of friends who play this game also got surprised by this. It's a bit weird to have this one specific event behave differently than all the others, even if they did mention it would. You kind of have to be looking for a detail like that, if you don't use twitter for the warning they sent out on there, like I don't because I dislike social media, and my very short time on this forum is serving as a good reminder of why.

The real trolls are the people on this forum calling everyone trolls because they spend 10 hours a day reading Twitter and the forums.

Yes, it was so annoying and disappointing. What's even more disappointing is that other players are blaming you instead of blaming SE.

I don't waste my time clicking on the ads in the launcher or copying URL links to get scammed. Some people (like me) actually play the game instead of going on the forums or Twitter to spend an entire hour reading about one event. Guess the same cannot be said of the professional forum users.

I'm not reading the rest. But, like...I work a lot, and I knew these tomes were trash once the event was over, so you only have yourself to blame. deal with stuff, or something idk

Before you log in, Read The Dam News on the Front Page. This way you wont be surprised or confused when something is going on in game, how you can participate, what it is, and if it has prizes you might want. Any rules? ALL of these things are written in the news. Bloody take a moment to actually read it! If you do, then you wont be suprised or confused...unless they literally forget to mention something.

What is it with personal responsibility these days? I have 90 I didnt use but I also didn't pay much attention to the threads on this forum about it, or pay any attention to the closing date. I didnt even look up the closing date when I felt like it must be close.

As a result.my response was, oh bugger, I missed it... oh well, my fault.

You can't expect SE to fly a plane over your house with a tail banner reminding you to spend them, the information is there, read it.

There no one to blame but yourself. Listen, maybe you're new, maybe this is your first mmo. Most mmo's post their events on their official websites. They have a starting date and an end date. It's up to "YOU" to read what content is upcoming and when they end, no one is going to do it for you. For the one sitting on 200 tomes, they should have spent them way before the event was to end.

You'll just have to wait until next Moogle event and spend them. People calling it a troll thread, because you carry all the signs of one. Time to get over it and move along.
