This basically. ARR has shown itself to be the great filter when it comes to new player retention for one reason or another. I've never had problems with it myself but I can see how certain folks definitely can. I don't expect more than a few hours played resulting in either a scathing review or a quiet shelving.

So much this. I do believe he would enjoy the raids a lot, but to get there in the first place? Big oof.
