How is having an interpretation regarding something "forcing" things or "shoving" into people's face. Dude you can literally close your eyes and not read their opinion, no one is forcing anything. Also, shipping is pretty normal and people getting hyped about it shouldn't be the end of the world, romance is popular for a reason. You shouldn't feel attacked just because you don't agree with that sentiment. Personally, I don't have an opinion regarding their relationship... But I can't really see what is the big deal.

Afaik LGBTQ+ people aren't a hive mind in which they all agree with each other. And it's kinda gross that people are acting like someone being LGBTQ+ means we're sexualizing the characters. Are movies like "My Girl", the kid's crush in "Love Actually", "Bridge to Terabithia" and other pieces of media that represent a sort-of-romantic-relationship between kids/teens sexual as well? That's ridiculous.

That's just semantics. Do every single time someone ships two characters, they have to write a long letter telling people how it's just their interpretation before gushing for a fluff ship? You also have a bunch of people telling them how they're wrong as if it's a fact as well, but that's not "forcing" nor "shoving" in your eyes?
I mean of course they also wrote their reasons to believe in their ship, since y'all are discussing it.

Well next time you can simply ignore, honestly. That way you won't feel like someone is forcing anything on you. Otherwise, it's part of being part of a community of fans of a particular story. It shouldn't be a big deal, I don't know why so many people here are treating like they're being attacked or something. It's just a ship, no one can enter inside your brain and change how you view them anyway, so yeah, you're not being forced. You might be around people with an attitude you don't enjoy, but then... close your tab?

Idk, I often see people gushing regarding ships that I don't even agree with, but what is the point of discussing with them how they're forcing things on me and telling them that they're obsessed and ruining things for other people because of it? Doesn't make any sense, the way that they feel about that ship is not going to change anything in my life regardless, I just ignore it.

It makes you feel good about yourself but the people over there still suffern and waving a rainbow flag and celebrating in a free democracy while other fellas like us get decapitated is kinda...dunno

I mean you can do both, though? You can feel good about being yourself and try to help other people if you can. It's better than just point fingers.
