I think some are trying to get a better understanding of the situation and are coming up with nothing. They are still focusing on the topic but aren't getting the needed details. Regardless of why this is happening, and I certainly don't support the actions of those on this site, people aren't getting enough information.

Yeah, don't worry I get that. Especially after seeing the disproportionate amount of support Kiwi Farms being able to continue doing what they're doing on the lodestone has been voiced here.

Also the reason my thread is so big is because I make up 90% of the replies on the thread myself. Again, though, I fail to understand why the nature of my thread is of such great importance when I continue to prove myself to be a very rational and articulate person.

I'm asking square to add more privacy controls the lodestone. Kiwi Farms was my reasoning for my request. Not my request itself. I am not asking Square to sue kiwi farms into oblivion. I am asking them for more privacy controls.

The nature of my thread, as I have said before, is SECONDARY. Caps added for emphasis.

A character you play in a game and information about that character is not personal information. There's no reason for it to be hidden since the information has nothing to do with a legal real person.

That you, a legal real person, plays a specific game using a specific character could be considered personal information under certain circumstances. It's your responsibility to decide if you should share that information with others. Most of the time, it's probably not a good idea. Do others really need to know that information? No, they don't. If it's for purposes of game discussion, all they need to know is that you play and not what your character's name is.

Since the Lodestone does not disclose any information about you the legal real person when your character's profile is viewed, there is no privacy breach. We have no way to connect your character with your legal real person by visiting Lodestone unless you voluntarily and intentionally place that information into a character profile comment, which you should never do.

The Lodestone does not need to be changed because the Lodestone is not causing any problems. Any issues you're experiencing are because of your actions.
