I'm sadly not able to trust anything posted by new forum posters at the moment, given the influx of more blatant trolls, but I fail to see how you could obtain IRL information from the Lodestone that the player has not put there themselves.

Also "I egg them on but also expect SE to make more effort to protect me from my own actions" sounds highly dubious.

I'm not asking square to do anything to correct something that is a fault of my own behavour. I'm asking square to give us more control over hiding our character's information.

Please don't be disingenuous with your statements when you openly admit you're not willing to verify your own claims.

I wasn't sure what it is, and I wasn't going to click on that link, but out of morbid curiosity I googled it, and searched it. There is actually a 138 page thread there, with what looks like the OP's lodestone.

Anyway, I've always liked little profile pages like the lodestone. They are cool to me, I like looking at my achievements, collectibles, etc. on things like that. Similarly, I also like WoW's and the profile features that BattleLog had (Battlefield games). Never thought about the need of hiding a profile like that completely though.

Yeah, I checked it out. Kiwifarms is a toxic forum to sludge through on the best of days, but they typically don't make threads on people they dont have "milk" on.

I'd honestly suggest therapy and learning how to ignore them from a therapist. If you're being milked as a 'lolcow' then they know you'll keep giving them more and more, and that's what they want.

If they know your character name, they can use it to look at your forum posts as well. You need to hold back impulses that make you want to lash out/explode at this kind of thing. I mean, look at this. 'Kiwi Farms, formerly known as CWCki Forums' that should say enough there on 'stop giving people ammo'.
