Doxxers using lodestone and fflogs to harass people

One which I continue to prove with my calm replies despite the apparent attempt by most posters present to suggest I deserve to have my FFXIV characters put on display by them.

What information are they receiving from your lodestone? Your... ingame achievements? You can hide this. Your mounts, minions, and classes? How is this private information that could lead to your identity?

I'm not being disingenuous at all. I've been very specific about what I am asking for. You are the one who keeps trying to turn this thread into something about kiwi farms specifically. I am actively refraining from accusing you of being disingenuous despite having every reason to. Can we please be civil and address the matter at hand or not at all?

I'd prefer to keep my gaming time seperate from Kiwi Farms' harrassment cxampaign against me. I don't want to be targeted by them while I'm just playing the game. I don't think that's such an unreasonable request.

Agreed. It's just a game character. I'm not sure what private information is being or could be supposedly leaked via this. However, other players can upload your parses. If I recall correctly, you have to manually add a code to your lodestone character profile to hide this information. Either way, yes there are avenues to hide much of this information.

The only issue I am seeing here is that perhaps the OP wants to hide all traces of their character, to avoid potential ridicule on that website - for whatever reason. Though, granted, I have seen some legitimate concerns by users who say they have been stalked by other players of this game, and a lodestone is an easy way to find them, despite name changes or server transfer (not that I've ever personally had this issue).

Yes. As far as I can tell your character has a specific url that people can bookmark to then follow you whenever you name change or server transfer. if I'm right in assuming there is no way to change that, they can just folow you to the ends of the earth.

Though, if people on Kiwifarms are actively stalking the user by using their lodestone profile to figure out where they are, that's different. I had to make a new character to shift away from an abusive friendship situation about 3 weeks after I joined the game (out of game shenanigans, but still). If people from Kiwifarms are actively stalking you, report them to Kiwifarms admins with proof, OP, and they'll get banned, as Kiwifarms has a very strict harassment policy.

I've @ed the admin with proof of users stalking me on steam from kiwi farms. They were never banned, and even gloated about how they wouldn't be.

The "no autistic trolling plans" rule no longer seems to apply. Again, kiwi farms is a secondary issue.

Did they actively engage you, or did they just send screenshots of what you were posting? These are two different things.

Part of the reason I'm trying to figure out this stuff is to help. (Another part is morbid curiosity, mind you, but that's separate.) You're not answering that. You're saying they're trying to use this info to gather private information on you, but HOW?
