You are not hurt because it takes an extra 15minutes, I get that it is a pain when u want efficient farm. But if you want a faster run you can go get one in pf, which is what I will do at some point. I will play this MMO however I please within ToS. I am not the one crying here. You are the one who tried the angle of being victimised for your playstyle. And now you are again giving others grief for how they play. Don't fling sh*t if you can't take it back. This MMO is the most "leisurely" one out there. If you want super hardcore community this is not the place to look for it.

Does me not using essence slow things down a little? Yes. Do I care that you want a 20minute run in that duty? No and you will get no apology from me for it

Yep. Very happy actually! I do the mechanics, save my party members and have a grand ol time. I complain that people have the nerve to tell others how they should play and what the "bare minimum" is. Lovely of you, well them since you say you don't even run DR, to think of others and so put in the effort to always use the essence. But don't act like a martyr for doing something I never asked you to do in the first place. They opt to do something themselves and then proceed to bitch that others do not do the same. Nobody is under any obligation to match the gil they put in, the time they put into farming clusters etc. If they want a group they know DOES match that level of effort they are available. Shaming others for having a nice time is a douche move. Just because they are in a rush does not mean the rest of us are.

Personally, I just can't wrap my head around someone NOT wanting a fast run through DR. That seems to be the case with you. In an MMO, time is the most valuable currency we have to spend. DR is one heck of a time sink. I get that you want to chill and have fun, and that's fine, but why are you so vehemently opposed to contributing a bit more to your group? I'd hate to see someone politely offer you job rotation advice, if this is any indication as to how things will go.

I am sure he/she does a fine job. I am sure they do their job rotation as do I and if I don't play a class as much then I will go and learn. Everyone has a play style some want to go fast, others like to take their time. Just the thing that shows is how most people try to dictate to others how they play a certain piece of content. You don't have to farm Bozja to get clusters though, you can just... Spend some of the gil you got from maps to buy clusters. Do roulettes. Sell ex fight mats. Craft if you got that leveled. The game throws gil at your face and especially if you had the time to reach rank 10 in Bozja and run DR I'd be surprised if you never got something worth a million or two from the boxes.

I'm giving suggestions lmfao and honestly faster runs means more time to make money since less time spent in DR too but go off

A house, which is at best a place to get a few easy mats for low gil and repair gear and so you can roleplay that you have a house... versus making the experience better for 20+ players a run in an online game... Which is the most incredibly egotistical decision?

Sure time is important in an MMO, but when you play like that all the time it stops being a fun pass time and becomes a job. I grinded my butt off in BDO to keep up with my hardcore PvP guild, then the buggers changed pvp but that is neither here nor there..

I doubt you have read every one of my posts so I will say this. I am not vehemently against someone doing more at all. I use essences if I have them to spare but I am not gonna go out of my way to get them, simple as that. And I am not going to grovel and apologise to someone who feels slighted I have not done so. I have not asked anyone to use essences to speed up my runs.

As for job advice, when I wanted to get better and get that glorious orange dps I went to the balance, read up all the guides etc. When I want to 'try hard' I can. I would love to do more savage but I simply cannot commit to any schedule for such because as said in a previous post, I have work, studies, a high energy dog and an elder to care for. You don't need to tell me that time can be hard to come by. Hence I am not gonna sit in the zone shouting for a cluster farm that usually nobody responds to, I will not spend the gil I am trying to save either. It's not fun for me. I play to have fun. I'm not afking, I'm not doing douchey pulls to cause wipes. I am simply playing to enjoy myself. Not rushing to meet another persons timetable.

So many people in this thread are crying about carrying people like myself, I could clear without them using the essences. I did not ask them to spend their gil or go and farm. If you chose to do something for your own benefit don't cry at me for not doing the same. First and foremost you are using those essences to help yourself, you want the faster run. The fact it is speeding it up for others too is secondary. I am being preached too as if I am so awful for not caring for others time.. as if they are not doing such things for their own benefit, not mine.
