Believe me, there is no greater plot armor than 'she's popular'. Generally only narratives that want to go for shock value will take the most popular cast members... and kill them off. What does being popular have to do with anything? If she doesn’t fit the story and just constantly rehashes the same things, she needs to go. It’s getting real old seeing her “sacrifice” herself only to amount to nothing. She serves no purpose other than those brief feels moment and the occasional light bulb, which can be done by any other character. I really don’t think popularity should play a part in anything as that’s when we get things like Graha.
