Proofs of Mettle cost 8 Million Mettle. Why do we need a 20 Million minimum?

I was starting to wonder if anyone else came to the same conclusion. Once I finished getting my weapon items from the skimishes/CEs I really found no reason to interact with anything other than the Dalriada and even then other methods are probably way more efficient than waiting around for that to happen.

I mean there is a reason to grind mettle using the skirmishes and CEs if Dalriada isn't up; especially in zone 3 each gold is about 200-300k and with how fast they go, you can easily grind out what you need on those alone, not to mention what CEs give. Good way to waste time in Zadnor while you wait for Dalriada to pop up.
