There's not a ton of players who have made it that far yet, so the Fates aren't scaling well since the participation isn't very high. That's probably part of the problem.

Fate scaling is still wonky. Today we had plenty of ppl in zone 3 and they were going down so quick is was near impossible to get gold. Even when I was rank 24, if I was there when it popped, initiated the battle or was the second or third to join, got out plenty of attacks and plenty of damage, the bosses would melt the moment just a couple others showed up and I would get silver.

Then some fates go down in literally seconds, there is that one with robots that 1 person can destroy in just a few moves so its almost not even worth running all the way over since it seems to have no scaling whatsoever. No matter how many ppl show up, its maybe a 10 second battle. In zone 2, I have seen that big dinosaur die so quickly I even questioned if they ppl fighting were somehow exploiting a bug or something. I have literally watched him go from 100% to dead in about 10 seconds as well. In zone 3 there is that one golem fight that sucks you in. I started when he was 100%, did my for 2 step dance, then tech step and as I finished, the boss died. That is a total of 6 gcd of time to complete the entire fate, with about 10 ppl there.

No idea how things are working but I cannot imagine its working as intended.

what kills me is there are virtually no CE's in zone 3 despite you needing THIRTY drops from there (15 CE's total). In my leveling I did 47 skirmishes in zone 3 and had a grand total of TWO CE's. . . . Two.

That isn't right. Something isn't right there.

When FATE*'s are completed in a matter of seconds - I don't blame them.

I just finished Dilradia (spelling) and I find it fairly short so it should be easy to finish every week no problem.

It's that dang CE grind for the components for the relic quests.

I'm pretty much done with the 1st zone, it's that damn 3rd zone. Those CE's are ROUGH as there is so much going on. 4th Belias i'm looking at you!

other then that I'm having a blast in Zadnor much more then I did with Eureka.

Yeah...like Lyon's field note. I've been trying to do CLL and it never drops for me. ¯\(°_o)/¯

The scaling in some of the fates in zone 3 is indeed a bit weird, especially the one on the left side.
Lovro just melt really quick, eventhough his other fate in zone 2 actually took awhile with roughly the same number of people. Same with Claricie and Lyuba.

Apperently all of them from the duels spawn from CEs and skirmishes as well... But the drop is like less then 1%.

I'm actually quite enjoying Zadnor atm but... Is there any reason why there's only like 5-6 skirmishes that pop up in zone three? And the one with the Red Mage guy who's tempered sometimes finishes before you can even get there from the Red Chocobo/rock dude area.

The scaling right now is garbage, hoping that SE does something to it because you can watch FATEs go from 0 to 100% in the blink of an eye.
