I don’t think they based viera lore off real rabbits. From what I’ve been reading, rabbits live in social groups comprised of both male and females called colonies. It’s not uncommon for a pair of rabbits to mate for life either. I think they just wanted a reason to explain the absence of male viera so they went with the every few years a guy viera comes to town...story. I think it’s the same for male miqote. Didn’t they get added later?

Male Miqo'te were 2.0 iirc. Also it's just funny how two of the most popular races have weird, jacked up lore.

Any shorter than Midlander would put them at male Miqo'te height. But at that point it's a nuanced choice whether they want to encroach into male Miqo'te height or not. That chart is portraying the "same height as female Viera" thing many here talk about.
