Naw, I kind of suspect that we will go another two years. Best case scenario is that I am wrong, but I'm pretty sure adding the missing genders slates the two races on a backburner again.

i don‘t know why but i have a positive feeling f. vieras and m. hrothgar are getting new hairstyles/manes with 6.0, they might save that information for a later reveal. headgear is another thing - which i think will be added with an upgraded engine altogether.

That whole thread is kinda wild right now honestly. On the one hand you got people making reasonable points regarding whether or not Male Viera should be taller or shorter than Female Viera. On the other hand, you got people slinging insults left and right, including calling men insecure or something simply because they don't want Male Viera to be Miqo'te short, or implying that there's something darker about wanting them to be uwu smol boys.

Personally I think Male Viera are gonna follow Female Viera and be in between Highlanders and Elezen in height. Whether they're shorter or taller than their counterparts doesn't matter to me, I've already got a Fantasia loaded up in the chamber anyways lol.

it just doesn‘t seem logical to me that they wouldn‘t have been working on the promised hairstyles for females when they‘ve been working on them for the males, which many of them could be tweaked just abit to make them more unique and give them to the females too...
i‘ll stay optimistic but i do understand your frustration, they are a long time due if you ask me.

Tbh I'm not sure what to make out of his answer. At one hand we probably can be optimistic and expect something at 6.0 (especially given they didn't answer this question during Q&A at fanfest which, I'm pretty sure, was asked dozen of times), but then again... they said similar thing at 5.0 so... their understanding about "a little bit" may be pretty different from ours. /shrug

They said the same exact thing in the art stream about year ago as well, so they're really stretching the definition of "a little bit".

Yeah it's really very vague. I guess it at least shows they know about the issue and don't exactly ignore it, but other than this, the answer isn't very helpful.
