Please no, I really don't want this guy up my backside even more than he is. If he's a Scion I'll never get to shake off the freak.
It'd be more interesting that the current direction of merging with Zodiark for a fight with the WoL. Zenos feels out of place as a center character in the whole Ascian plotline.
One thing about Zenos is that he gives the impression he's far more intelligent than his outward "want to fight stuff" attitude might suggest. He's not crazy-insane like Fandaniel or charging around waving his sword in the air trying to find us, he's more calm and calculating even if it bores him to be patient. He shows no sign of reliance on, or trust for Fandaniel who is just a tool for his goals, which would make it hard for Fandaniel to stab him in the back because it's not unlikely Zenos is aware of the possibility. A lot of the one-dimensional aspect of Zenos could just be that we've seen so little of his plans or thought process, mostly his waiting and preparation.

everything so far has been part of zenos's 9th dimensional chess game to lure out the Ascians and save the planet![]()
"Stop right there, criminal scum! Nobody breaks the terms of service on my watch! I'm reporting your illegal mods, now enjoy your time in gm jail."
Maybe, but from what we've seen so far Fandaniel is the one with an actual plan who has been working towards seeing it completed, and is the one that approached Zenos. It seems less like Zenos has a 'plan' of his own and more like he's rolling with Fandaniel's because it gets him what he wants. It'd be more interesting that the current direction of merging with Zodiark for a fight with the WoL. Zenos doesn't care about the empire and since the scions are always engaged in the world's biggest battles im not shocked by the possibility of him joining or at least participating in their battles. Also, look what they did with Gaius and Nero. For all the people who hate Zenos and want him gone for good, I for one am more excited for the end of this hydalin zodiark story.
Gaius was a 'well intentioned extremist' who thought he was doing the right thing. Zenos doesn't care, and even considered then rejected the idea of changing his ways already. The two aren't really comparable in terms of redemption potential, and many believe Gaius got off too easy as is.Zenos doesn't care about the empire and since the scions are always engaged in the world's biggest battles im not shocked by the possibility of him joining or at least participating in their battles. Given what Zenos helps Fandaniel do to Garlemald I really don't think it's feasible to try and redeem him. It'd be a super hard sell if they even tried.
I agree, but I think its feasible he might end up having some strange obsession with the WoL after his defeat. Captain Kenpachi from Bleach comes to mind.Gaius was a 'well intentioned extremist' who thought he was doing the right thing.
