The average irl is not the average in game, you can't make an average based on the only thing that exist in both worlds just because is the familiar one with you, highlander and elezen would be the average.

Male hyur is average. I am not arguing from RL, though RL height would have a general bearing. Hyur midlander is what everything in the game is divergent from; they are the base, this is why they are the 'average'. That they are also average in height, only cements this.
For example, Au Ra, Roe are extremes. In both height and build. Therefore, they shouldn't be used as a basis. Elezen are tall-very tall. Lalafell would be an extreme on the short end.
The argument that seems to be being made in this thread, is over equal representation of races. Again, that argument falls flat, If we want to take in account the distribution of of every player race, short males are the ones who are actually underrepresented in this game.

That's not how average height works; you're making a 3D modeling argument where they use the easiest body (base) to make it easier for them to create 3D assets or in game lore argument. Neither one has a bearing on what the height average of the game is. Hyur is average in philosophical terms, not in terms of height.

No, you still don't get it, you think that hyur is average height because you see it as the base, because it is what you know, but that's not how average works, this game have several races and the average in height are the ones that fall in the middle, that would be highlander and maybe elezen.Male hyur is average. On the other hand, they are not being underrepresented they may be less short races from your perspective of what an average is, but they are by far played more than the taller ones.
