Update, the quests end this week.
And we don't get anything from them. They are and always were just some cute little quests about rebuilding Komra.

until the nier civilization rises to overthrow their dwarven creators and we get another raidif anything anime and video games has taught me that meddling with alien technology generally ends badly

Imagine if these quests were actually useless to Nier conclusion.
Nah, but I believe they simply don't bring anything to the story beyond "Someone is always mad and they ran away" + Komra rebuilt.
6 weeks for that and Konogg's messages.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised that Konogg's friend is alive, just lost their memories or something.
And that the angry dwarf was actually Anogg, or some poor story like that. And everyone would clap.
There is some sort of epilogue in 5.55. I don't know if it's going to require more weekly quests to get to or not though lol.
I'm literally only still doing it each week to feed my neurosis and check the box. :/
Konogg's "friend" is his dead twin sister that was replaced with an android facsimile, and we already know Glagg isn't Anogg considering we first ran into him during the quest after the WoL and G'raha had to escort the little Tholl fellow to some ore veins that were in Gogg territory.Imagine if these quests were actually useless to Nier conclusion.

I know the story presentation's been piss-poor so far (and if you think you're annoyed, you don't even want to know how mad I am about this expansion's alliance raid series having such a lackluster storyline), but at least try to keep the plot points straight.
I can only hope that maybe 5.55 will have some final quest that actually ties everything up into a cohesive and satisfying conclusion, but chances of that happening are hilariously slim at best.

No worries, their gender isn't even the same if I remember well, it was just an example with a touch of jest.
Anogg survival still seems unlikely, no body is always a potential survival, but what would be the conclusion?
We know for sure Glagg and Konogg will meet face to face, what would it be, Konogg trying to take revenge and the WoL trying to talk them out of it? Then explaining why revenge is bad?
Again, that's just a possible scenario only based on Konogg's last message.
I'm not invested enough in the story to make good assumptions.
Honestly, at this point I wouldn't even care if Konogg just goes full scorched earth and the Tholl village is ruined beyond repair. Interesting lore implications aside, this entire story line has been a waste of time.
The only thing "good" that came out of it was the 2B leggings so everyone and their mother can run around with their butts hanging out like the degens they are... Though I won't deny the actual leggings themselves and not the underwear are aesthetically pleasing.

Sounds about right after we gave every other dwarf a trite "revenge is bad" lesson in the earlier quest (and they all crumbled at a single retort).
According to the live letter, there will be in epilogue for it in 5.55, so looks like we will get something.
