Did Yoko Taro wrote this or the game's writers did based on the concept in general?
So nothing exciting then.
I too had either forgotten these weekly quests existed, or never really knew.
I saw in the patch notes that the quest "Whence the Heart Leads" requires that "Players must first complete all YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse weekly quests, and have received all of Konogg's messages from the dig site chief".
So this kind of sounds like the Doman reconstruction thing.. once per week for about twelve weeks?
I remember doing the quests for the Dwarves to rebuild the town/set up some sort of carnival, and the beast tribe quests. I didn't know there were MORE repeatable quests with them.
Do these require you to go through one of the raids each time to get something?
(edit) OH! or are these the ones where you go into the zone (not raid but just solo) to collect things?
You don't have to repeat any of the raids. There are six weekly quests. Two send you into the copied factory zone to gather items, two into puppet's bunker, two have you go beat up a robot near town and capture it.I too had either forgotten these weekly quests existed, or never really knew.

i've done doing all the Nier quest and got the ochestrion roll at the end, im not sure why i even bother asking, this will be the end of Nier series right? There will be no weapon glamour? no flight unit mount? no heavy battle suit glamour? and no further rebuilding for komra like Yorha theme right?
If no then im not sure y i been doing 6 weekly quest.... disapointment can't even begin to describe what i feeling atm.
...
I actually quite enjoyed the last quest. A bit disappointed in the reward for doing it all, and I don't think the story was very well told as a whole, but the ending was good.
From what they've said, this seems like the last quest. But the quest itself seemed a little less than conclusive. Unless there's some sort of new game plus stuff to mess with and the key to "getting more" is already right there in front of us.i've done doing all the Nier quest and got the ochestrion roll at the end, im not sure why i even bother asking, this will be the end of Nier series right?
