Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

I'm not really sure when they're coming, but they did say when revealing M-Viera that they were considering holding them back until F-Hroth's were ready too, but decided to release them in the order they were completed. That sounds a lot less like "We'll work on them later." and more "M-Viera are more humanoid and simply pulled ahead." That comment makes no sense to make unless both were being actively worked on at the same time, so while they could always hold and work on F-Hroth's till 7.0 I don't think they're as unfinished as some think.

I think it also had a lot to do with the Fanfest deadline. M Viera, being humanoid as you said, are easier to put together and probably were closer "to show" than f Hroth. Probably also spent a little more time on them just to get them ready for the Fanfest reveal.

Wouldn't surprise me, they could have been working on them both, seen the date and realized M-Viera could actually be ready and showable and shifted gears to them. My take is they'll put most of the focus on them leading up to November but will still be working on F-Hroths in the background and once 6.0 hits, keep working on them, I'm taking them not saying anything about hats or hair as them simply wanting to get the races finished first, so I'd assume the graphical designers are all hands on deck with the missing genders now.
They could always say something contrary between now and then, but that's how I think they intend to handle it, it seems to be the plan at least.

I agree. To ME it felt like that's what they were saying, that they simply wont be in 6.0 but could very well be released in 6.1 or w/e, when ever they are finished.
And yeah, Viera are easier to make than Hrothgar. The Hrothgar males have far more expressive and longer emotes than Viera did and at the end of the day Viera are just humans with bunny ears whereas Hrothgar have animal faces and fur patterns.
