How much content was cut for Male Vieras?

Yep. Definitely only a 9-11 month delay. And we'll just conveniently ignore we only had one Ultimate instead of two this expansion. So we technically lost content.

HC raiders may not be the only losing content, originally they mentioned they would have something to solve the limited outdoor planting back when they show off the 5.0 contents.
It may or may not be the island sanctuary we are getting, the island sanctuary could be an upgraded version of the original one they planned to release in this expansion.
I believe the things that got delayed by male Viera were probably female Viera hairstyle and headgears.
Just be patient, they promised the ultimate will come and it will come sooner or later, it is not like they keep it in the dark or worse, forgotten or ignored...like my precious Korea 2017 dress and the CE box situation for NA now.
Have fun with other contents or take a break to recharge until the content you want drops.

While this was likely a troll post, I would wager you will see more people will make a male Viera than engage in Ultimate content.

By that logic, Blue Mage, PvP, Perform, Gpose, Gold Saucer and so forth should all be deleted since you'll definitely see more catgirls than anyone engaging in the aforementioned content.

Quite possibly. I wasn't really touching on Ultimate specifically nor do I have am opinion on male Viera one way or another. I was mostly pointing out the person whom I quoted was wrong to imply HC raiders only had to wait 9-11 for Ultimate. We'll be waiting over two years.

Not really cut, it will still come eventually, just not as fast.
It is reasonable we got 2 in SB and 1 in ShB even without using the pandemic as a reason.

SB relic was using Eureka, which IIRC composed of many existing models and left out resources that did not get their way into the main game, with only one large scale dungeon BA.

ShB relic are getting three, four large scale dungeon if you consider the savage DR too. We also got unreal, Ishgard restoration which was way more contents than Doma "restoration".

As much as I hate to point fingers at the devs or anyone, but wasn't the department which responsible designed the ultimate also handle BLU?
I would put my money if I have to on BLU was the reason that hindering the development of ultimate than male Viera or Bozja.
Even we filthy casual got 2 less 4 men dungeon than SB.

Of course it will be best to have three(one from ShB) ultimate in EW, but they will most likely focus more on the new story after the Zodiack and Hydaelyn arc. It is like lobster changing the shell, if it fails, it will die.

Certainly that will be a sum of long wait, but I am sure it will be worthy.

I wouldn't be surprised if PvP in FF14 had a higher engagement rate than Ultimate. The reality is, the teams that would make Viera aren't the same that would be making Ultimate. Frankly it has already been explained why it was delayed until next expansion regardless.

the design team and the battle team are completly different. That's like blaming the music composers for not having Ultimate. Nothing was cut for male viera as it was the design team.

It's easy to say things like that over the anonymity of the internet. For all we know you could very well be seething with wrath and furor but just be lying.

And what casual content was cut? Only thing I see is All Saint's Wake. Hardcore players, like you supposedly, are getting 1 less ultimate however while "casual" players are getting farmville and another PotD in Endwalker.

And it's easy to assume things as long as it makes you feel good, right?! But let's see what casual content got cut. No Saint's wake for 2 years, no Hildibrand, no extra dungeon for even patches, only two zones for the relic. There's probably more stuff that I don't care about to remember. Oh, and no dyeable artifact unless you do extreme trial!

And the way people reacted to devs not releasing new Ultimate content because of the effects the pandemic had on development as a whole disgusts me.

At least we didn't call the dev team homophobes and sent them death threats like the casuals did over bunny boys! Why aren't you disgusted by that?! Or are you OK with it, since it's content you want?

They did say that they will aim at 2 ultimate per expac back in stormblood, plus iirc they mentioned in previous live letters that they aren't sure if there will even be 2 in endwalker. So imo its fair to say that 5.5 ultimate is cut and not delayed. I really doubt they will go back on their word and make 2 more.
