Even then if they force all male viera to be shorter than even min height viera that's just wrong, I get that people want their "revenge" for au ra, but this isn't the way. Usually at least the sliders allow for both options, but all I see is this gross fetishized stuff everywhere.

The dev team made this decision- the same dev team that made the au ra decision. “Fetishists” have nothing to do with the creation process. Also if you think any male character under 6 feet tall is “fetish” fodder maybe you’re the one with the height fetish.

That is, assuming you’re not just here to stir up drama. It’s kind of hard to believe you could possibly be sincere.

If they are it’s minimally so. And femdom? You mean the people having fun/joking by exaggerating the difference for ara ara memes? Because that’s pretty much all I’ve seen and it’s harmless. Mostly the art I’ve seen is just “this is what my character will look like when I fantasia” and doting on the long haired one. I don’t know where you’re hanging out but if it bothers you that much, Twitter is a highly tailorable experience.

Count yourself lucky I suppose. It's clear that me and some others wanting for both height dynamics to be an option is unjustifiable to some people so I'll just leave it at that.

I’m not even particularly married to one way or the other, I can just understand why people think that they are smaller and how it could make sense. I’m happy to leave it at that because you and I clearly are playing very different games surrounded by very different people.

I kind of agree if you compare the two genders running in the trailers they look about the same to me. That comparison is pretty interesting. Their running animation looks pretty good by the way.

This is a really nice comparison using min height viera. They got the angle perfect and it does seem their models are comparable aside from the ears. The trailers posted above I still think the women look taller but it could be a matter of slider and having their whole legs exposed, while the men have the armor and wrap, obscuring part of the legs.

Tbh the FOV/angle could skew it one way or the other so I wouldn't take it for granted, however if this was accurate that would mean that assumed default height is slightly taller than min female, which could probably give leeway to have them both noticably shorter than say a max height fem char or be taller than some of the mid ones perhaps at max height.

it seems the shot is even a tadbit closer to the female, if we compare the picture (bottom part of some of the plates are cut off). i‘d love if the males were the same height with an height slider similar to fem roes.
