I know one must always temper one's expectations, but I do find it funny that after all the "You'll never get M-Veira!" and "Good luck waiting for 7.0 and beyond!" They surprise us and they show up in 6.0, yet we're already back to. "Bah! Don't expect anything! F-Hroth's for 7.0 if you're lucky!" and "They'll never surprise us! ... y'know... like they just did... so there!" The cycle continues.

Yeah, the reason I figured we simply were not getting the genders before (until YP confirmed he wants 10 more years outta this MMO and called it his life's work) is for the glaring fact ... that the longer you wait to add a new race/ model the harder it becomes because you put THAT much more work on the team. To me they had to do them next expac or else they would simply have to wait for a massive graphics engine update cause it's just not going to get any easier any other way.

So yeah, we've never had a "race" release outside the start of an expac ... but we've also never been told "We're working on releasing X race, they're coming, just not in X.0 patch cause we're focusing on releasing Y race". We're in uncharted waters and on top of that we've already seen artistic depictions of them in game. I legit wouldn't be shocked if the final Bozja chapter features a Female Hrothgar NPC with a hidden or custom face like they did draggos. (so long as they know what the body shape will be it wouldn't be hard to make an NPC that just wears 1 outfit and uses canned animations)

Same as Hrothgar, furry but female like female Ronsos?
I'm craving for a strong, tall beast race that isn't furry and would like to know how many are in the same boat as me.

The fanart that's been posted above is pretty much within the ballpark of what I'm hoping for: I wanna play a cool, tough beast gal that has a cute cat face.

If they end up looking too human that's gonna be a hard pass for me. As I've mentioned in the thread before, I am exhausted at how beastly or monstrous fantasy races in various media often end up still having very humanoid women. If I wanted to be a dolled up babe then those options already exist. Plus, there's already been plenty of Cats jokes made even without having any official confirmation on how they look, I'd like to avoid an increase in that, lmao.
