Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I'm really happy we're not getting new hairstyles or hats for Viera & Hrothgar or fixing any problems with them or updating the older races!

It's really great that another gender is being added first without addressing the existing races issues, which means the added genders will suffer the same issues because not many people seemed to recognize any issues or care about the existing viera & hrothgar problem

If that female Viera is indeed maximum height and the male is average height, it would make the height difference seem much more drastic. All these factors help pronounce the difference even more.

To be fair, even with keeping angles not being perfectly alligned in mind, and even if the female Viera is max height and male is min height - it still looks like a pretty big difference, compared to other races, so it does feel... fresh, if I can say so (which I like if it's true, no complaints on my side X3).

The only races so far that have women being able to be taller for 9-10 cm are Roegadyns and Lalafells, with everyone else being 2-4 cm (and with Auri women being unable to be taller), and their difference doesn't even look that big in game itself.

(Viera and Hrothgars aren't here because I did this chart before 5.0 benchmark was released)

Yeah they wouldn’t have added more content in place of this. We’d get the same amount of zones, same amount of dungeons, etc. instead of complaining about adding more content instead of this, you should be arguing for them adding more content AND new playable races.

I am glad they introduced them a wee bit too pretty and young looking for my personal tastes but glad folks got them and I will deffo be making an alt. I am interested to see what Femhroth look like too.

When the female Viera trailer dropped before Shadowbringers, I think they were only using one or two faces. Think we had about the same this time around too, maybe 3 max. But that would still leave at least one more. They probably used the faces that would appeal to the most people for the reveal which most likely wasn't mature faces.

Went and looked at the female Viera trailer again and it looks like you're right, I think they only used face 1 and 2. The male Viera faces they showed look pretty similar to female face 1 and 3, so there might be 2 more they haven't shown yet.

The female viera trailer only showcased face option 1 with tweaked eyes and lips. I'm fairly confident it is the same case on the male viera trailer.
