    For some reason they really don't want to give proper sword to DPS. And maiming set is already out of the question.
    Its not entirely unlikely to get rune fencer for scouting set, but it would have to be non-heavy armor variant. So basically spellblade.

    I think it could be maiming still. The armor set doesn't really mean anything regarding the role of the job without the group, it's still a melee DPS.
    I could see something close to Bravely Default's Spell fencer as a striking set for example.
