Personally I'm not all that in favor of this idea. Most of these items are rewards for loyalty or dedication to the game so they should remain exclusive to those people. The one item I feel should be an exception is the exp earring, it's a huge exp bonus which on a new account would save many hours of grinding if you wanted to level many jobs. Mounts, minions and glamour items are fine in my opinion but a 30% exp boost should have never been a time limited exclusive item.

    I support this.

I also support giving people the chance to get the /gasp legacy tattoo (I have one - so that means I get to say this, right?). We've had that exclusivity for almost 10 years now, it's cool to share

Mass Effect 2 released it's pre order items for free on PSN at one point.

FOMO sucks and the digital items contained in the pre order bonus's are usually really small and I never see people actually use them beyond a couple days/weeks after release. Just re-release the earrings in the mog station without the EXP bonus. Wham! Totally different item. And just straight up sell the minions, they did it with fanfests so they clearly don't mind breaking their FOMO marketing strat if it means money for them. And if that really isn't satisfying for people who have the preorder stuff, then change the flavor text, call it a replica, there you go it's different! Can't complain now.

Pre order items are not these big deal special items proving you did something difficult or challenging or even remotely interesting for, you pre ordered a game you would have pre ordered regardless, whoop-dee-doo-da! Stop acting like pre order items should be as coveted as founder items for an early access game you're taking a risk on.

I see no problem opening them up for the following expansion.

People who get the early order items will have had the benefit for a while and it's not like paying SE a few months earlier than everyone else is a huge difficult feat.

I'm not sure who you are aiming your anger at as you didn't quote anyone but it seems rather unnecessary.

That said, I remember when the beast tribe quests were added to the game and the forum melted because the Goobbue mount was too similar to another mount 1.0 version players thought was exclusive. Some people care that their exclusive items remain exclusive. Personally I don't care what anyone else has and I don't get jealous of other people's stuff but if I enter a deal with an exclusive reward I expect it to remain exclusive, not just in this game but anywhere, because that was the deal I agreed to.

I do not care at all to see players with exclusive things, it must be that I have been playing this genre for more than 15 years kek

SE have broken that one a lot. Like the 2016 fanfest exclusive Abes attire and Yuna minion.

Yeah it's not something I agree with personally.

Just to add though, I'm the kind of player who frequently takes long breaks so I have very few exclusive items, I'm not saying I have it so you can't. It's more you have it and I don't really care. A deal is a deal to me, so if I missed it, I missed it.

Yeah, fomo needs to go, it's a really nasty tactic, and anyone who needs it to exist so they can feel special for purchasing things at a specific arbitrary time needs to find a better hobby cause yikes.

Like, imagine a game that would flash spider jumpscares at you with a paid option to turn them off. People w/o anxiety wouldn't understand what the big deal is, but those with arachnophobia can see clearly that their anxiety disorder that they have no control over is being exploited. Fomo is exactly that, and companies know what they're doing.

Er, no. It's because it promotes sales and this keeps share holders and company executives happy. Fomo is your own issue projected onto someone else, genuine phobias and feeling jealous about someone else having a mount you want are not even remotely related. Sales tactics like fomo lose all their power if you control your own emotions.
