Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

They definitely won't go the FemRoe routes, as I assume they want some return on investment and FemRoe are a blackhole where player engagement is concerned.

It doesn't help that making a good looking FemRoe is a trial in itself, if they had more attractive options for FemRoe faces I feel there'd be more. I still think a more heroically built female race would be nice to have. There are a great deal of options for players to pick for femme options, where as the more masc females have only two: Bimbo Highlanders, and Tall FemRoes.

Some would say - FemRoes are the muscle girls of FFXIV! I'd respectfully disagree when you take into account their male counterparts and how disgustingly extreme the sexual dimorphism is. I honestly hope with FemHroth there's a reversal of that.

With how youthful and effeminate the male vieras are it would seem redundant to do the same with female hrothgar(but feminine...again). Especially how the former looks closely similar to the female viera, so why do extreme dimorphism with Hrothgar or paste another "barbie" shape on the females? A female Au Ra Reaper still doesn't wow anyone compared to Lion Reaper lol. And with how the gender is delayed I feel and hope it means the devs are planning on fixing the hair fantasia lock, making creative unique faces to fit the features of the Males or even make a new mesh that can be used with the midlander model that will look/rig better than both fem highlander and roe. All three of those together feel like the biggest reason on top of covid for why it has been hanged up on the project bin and I don't mind that. (They stated once they find the opportunity to add them they would because hands were tied. Making my theory a bit moot)

Sure, I want to see a hint of one in Zadnor but with how irregular any mural hints are and how controversially exaggerated (looking at male Hrothgar illustrations) said murals are it can be anyone's guess and I personally want Hrothgar's to have the benefit of taking advantage of any future character customization upgrades as the "poster race" so a beta NPC design would just muddy it. Maybe at least confirm if they will have exotic cat heads.

Face-wise, making a good looking femroe is easy, it's around the waist and down that tends to be the problem because of their postures and complete lack of hips and curves, and doesn't help that the majority of female clothing inclines to more cutesy styles that simply don't mix with their silhouettes

I'd have to disagree, most femroe faces are nasty.

Working around different bodytypes is what makes the different races nice, cutesy clothing doesn't work for them as well as a miqo'te because obviously of their bodyshapes. You really can't expect all women to have really wide hips, but pulling off a cute look is still very possible with a femroe's physique, and a rewarding experience.

Either way, I tend to gravitate to more 'cool' looks, and properly built fem hroth would fufill that niche.

Some of yall are wayyyy too optimistic, ignoring how much effort it would take to drop a whole race mid expansion you have tp account for the numerous pushbacks on content theyre gonna be working to make up for, femhroth are gonna be 7.0 at the earliest, honestly i wouldn't be shocked if it was even later.

As long as they put the maximum number of work into both races, I will be fine with it. I just don't want to wait until 7.0 for it.

After looking at the Male Viera, idk, Im not personally feeling to optimistic about how FemHroth will look...whenever the heck we get them. Either Later in EW, or in 7.0 (T_T).
But hey, anything can happen. Male Viera happened.

I just hope its worth the wait and I can be as excited as the otehr crowd is.

Don't know how i feel about "later" because that can pretty much mean anything from Endwalker release to 7.0, which if it was not before 7.0 .. would just be .. gah..

But well at least we got reaper so 1 of 2 things i really wanted.
