Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

If not, then the collective groan of disappointment will be enough to summon two new primals in the image of the Viera and the Hrothgar that repeatedly rip off their hair to reveal yet another fabulous hairstyle underneath.

I find it hard to believe there will be nothing but that turns out to be the case it will be very depressing. I love my Viera and have waited patiently. I'm not about to change them given I have alts and love the different races and can enjoy them without fantasia.

I hope the fan fest will be a big success even though I think Shadowbringers is going to be a hard act to follow.

I think they will add 1 new hairstyle for both races.

Personally I wish they made it so both races could use all available hairstyles and wear hats, but seeing how they have been silent for 2 years, it's better to already be disappointed.

Yeah, but wouldn't it be worse if they added those 30 hairstyles for viera/hroth, and they are GOOD for hroth? Hrothgar players would want to change to those hairstyles, and have to fantasia more often. I think we all know that probably won't be fixed.

If they were actually concerned with what's good for players of either race then this thread wouldn't exist, so that's a mighty bold assumption there Sturm!

I think we all know that probably won't be fixed.

In all seriousness though, even if it's unlikely I really do hope they at least fix that. It's easily the worst character creation "quirk" of any playable race.

Hrothgar hairstyles still intrigue me because unless they magically separate face and hair, either only one of the 4 faces (probably face 2, due to sheer popularity) will get a new hairstyle at a time, leaving the other 3 in the dust, or they'll make 4 variations of it for each face every time a new one comes out, and somehow I don't think the CC spaghetti code can withstand the latter.

...or they'll just ignore the race altogether
