Well said Seif.![]()
Especially since we're getting that massive Map Revamp, they should be asking Uematsu-san to start composing more great Music Tracks now, so they'll be ready in time when we start getting the new / updated areas.![]()
Thing is they aren't even currently using half of his songs that he already made! Funny thing is... the ones not used or even rarely used are really really great^^

Awesome that they've started to diversify the music tracks used in the overworld, added a dynamic track for the dungeons, and used that great battle theme for standard boss fights!

Yeah, and the feeling of the game changed in a better way as well. For me at least.
edit: FFV is one of my fave too eheh.
I'm definitely looking forward to more varied and specially themed music for areas!
Also, hey there Tek! It's me Toph =D /wave
I just wanted to bump this thread up again because it's filled with amazing pieces of music from all FF games. Some of my favourites in that!
That and I was kinda hoping we might get some sort of dev response on the lack of music in Nanawa, Copperbell, Cassiopia's, Mun-Tuy Cellars, etc etc.
The music in Mist Beard Cove suits it perfectly and made it instantly into one of my favourite places of the game. I always expected something for Nanawa Mines to eventually come into the game though that has a similar sort of fitting theme. I know the soundtrack is already done, even if not fully implemented, but I just find it odd that there's these areas that feel so bland and yet could be truly stunning and have the feeling of adventure if given some decent BG music and not just ambient sounds.

Some of my favourite tracks were the dungeon themes.
Moreso than the battle theme's, if anything.
Sorry to necro this thread back to life but it really brings up some good songs for those unaware aswell as raising a valid point.
No problem at all, was just about to do the same myself. Also I think you jumped in Eight's party to help with tapers last night? Thanks again for the help.
I'm glad they finally decided to make use of the great Beast tribe battle theme instead of just having it relegated to a small parley mission.
Zahar'ak is amazingly fitting for its environment, but Shposhae's battle theme is begging to be used elsewhere in the game.
Since it's not an instanced area, maybe just as the standard open dungeon area battle theme?

Shposhae's battle theme is kinda sorta awesome.![]()
Can we please have some vocal songs in ffxiv? I'm just in love with ffiii-2's bodhum song. I think it would be awesome to have some sang themes. Don't get me wrong, I love the music of final fantasy xiv, but I think I heard no vocals so far. It would be an awesome addition. Maybe for 2.0.
What do you guys think?
