If the problem is getting data and tuning, why not just extend a private invitation to certain players to try the fight when it’s near done; the fight need not drop any rewards as I am sure people like Mr Happy or whoever has a good relationship with Se would be happy just getting a scoop to talk about once it goes public.

Other mmos I have played have had beta weekends/weeks that let people try content without rewards to collect data.
Don’t they do that with the first trial of every expansion? Like how ShB had them fight Titania at the media tour and then i believe there was one for ruby weapon at some point.
