Shi... I want better tail options! My Xaela's tail is not nearly majestically long or thick enough to accurately display his divine lineage.

Instead of removing the tail, I wish with certain caped gear, the tails would actually have its 3D bones set and limited to a certaini range of movement that is closer to the legs, so it would clip less.
They already change the hair to a "hat friendly version", the concept is similar, except you wouldn't have to do another 3D model, just adjust the one there already.
This would be ideal, but I can’t see them suddenly start doing that again. For people who care about clipping, with certain pieces (huge capes, big mascot suits, etc) it would make sense to “tuck it in” and may be a more realistic option. That said for the majority of people who do not care, it would suck if they started having gear that just hid the tails as they are indeed a prominent feature that many enjoy, including myself on my alt.I think I don't want a "remove tail" toggle but rather the gear itself is made with tails in mind. There's a lot of pieces that feel like they forgot some races have one.
On the subject, if you play as an au ra and you use mods to take off the scales and tails, you're a coward.
I agree through that scaleless and hornless au ra is a coward’s option. Tucking in a tail or some cat ears is one thing. Completely stripping them of horns and scales and giving them little uwu elf ears is just....why.
This would be an amazing solution. Maybe someday!Instead of removing the tail, I wish with certain caped gear, the tails would actually have its 3D bones set and limited to a certaini range of movement that is closer to the legs, so it would clip less.

See, your head went in that direction. Mine went into 'this ain't the timesink and resources I want devs to go through just cause tails ruin some glamour for some people."
So yes, personally against. No, will not change mind on this. How selfish of me? Probably, don't care.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Because it's tall, big but not as big as a Roe and has bigger head than Elezen. I dislike the other races more than the one I picked. Would've picked Hyur if they were as tall.
What I don't understand is why would anyone be against this.. if you don't want to use it then it doesn't affect you. It's not like it's unrealistic either...when you wear something you can tuck the tail under the garment.
The development team designed a race with a certain look in mind. I would venture to say they aren't about to change it just because some would prefer that race without tails. You can ask but it's not going to happen. That's like asking them to remove ears from Viera or scales from Au-ra or ears from Cats.
I gave my opinion about the option to have tails removed. You might not like my reply but it is what it is. They aren't going to remove tails from Aura nor should they. There are races without tails, horns or scales use them.
You didn't give your personal opinion. You gave an opinion of what you think the opinion of developers would be. (which you obviously can't know if you aren't a developer)
Oh and yea ground mounts weren't supposed to fly. Now they do.
Developers are people. Not robots. They can change their mind as you can see.
