    Lol, there is always going to be some level of toxicity in video games, especially ones where you have to work together against other players. I feel like in general, the ffxiv playerbase is incredibly thin-skinned. Someone said some mean words to you in a video game? Hide chat. Taking away chat from everybody is extreme and I've never heard of any other game doing that. It's bs this happened to the pvp community. People get upset, name-call, and argue during savage raids. Should they remove chat for that too? No, because communication is necessary in savage. It's just as necessary in pvp. The macros aren't always enough. We aren't just being punished for the small percent being toxic- we are also being punished for the small percent who cannot control their emotional reactions.
