


Forgot to add that earlier, ty!Saw this on Twitter. Was answered only about 20 minutes ago. Seems they have more than 199,500 codes. Seems like maybe they have enough for anyone who wants one. Sort of wondered if the 199,500 number was a marketing ploy to get everyone out there fast. lol

The per-character thing has been a general issue creeping in. Apparently there's a limit to the account-wide codes they can create or... I'm honestly still confused as to the exact issue, but it would seem that some part of the database structure would need to be seriously increased to relieve the issue or restructuring collectables to be account based instead of character based which is a large undertaking. Someone made some structural decisions early on that were not built for alts & FFXIV's current popularity.
