Butterfinger Promo (Chocorpokkur Mount)

I'm just upset all around with this Promotion and how it was handled, and glad I checked reddit to see they were already out of stock before I wasted money on candy I hate.

They were never out of stock. Before the promotion started, the domain would redirect to https://gamewithbutterfinger.com/en-us/PostPromo which looked to just be a holding page until the promotion went live. Apparently that's the url that whomever does the lodestone posts snatched up, but when the promotion went live https://gamewithbutterfinger.com no longer redirected and https://gamewithbutterfinger.com/en-us/PostPromo was changed to a page stating the promotion is over. Anyone clicking through the lodestone announcement is now going to the incorrect url.

Edit: The PostPromo url appears to have been made functional at this point.

Where did you make your purchase from and was is a physical receipt or a digital one if you don't mind sharing? Might help people looking for an alternative if their receipts are rejected.

We're still waiting for the Black Fat Chocobo mount to be made available to European players. It's the silence on the subject that bothers me more than the lack of an equivalent promotion over here. This is exactly the sort of issue that our community representatives should be weighing in on as far as I see it. If the mounts will be available later on the Mog Station or through a different promotion then it'd be great to get a definitive answer.

I really wish they would stop doing these sort of promos.

I really don't get the invest for them unless Ferrero or Amazon pay an oddly high amount for a promotion that likely won't interest most of their cliental. Every time they've done a promotion, it's done nothing but general a massive amount of backlash. Then again, SE has been rather daft lately. *Looks over to Yuffie DLC being PS5 exclusive*

I submitted mine at 12:07 pm EDT and haven’t gotten anything yet. I wonder if the different time zones are an issue. I’m in MDT so my receipt is 10am instead of 12pm. I wonder why I haven’t seen anything and it’s been 10 hours for me.

Someone posted on reddit that they had made a purchase yesterday and received their code after submitting today. Butterfinger has also expressed that they're trying to have the company working the promotion for them expand the dates a bit wider to accommodate people that may have bought early.

Confirmed! If you submit a valid receipt from between 4/30/21-6/30/21 then it will be approved. If you have been rejected, then please use the “resubmit” button on the email and they should approve it this time around. Let us know if you run into any challenges.

Same with me. I submitted mine a few minutes after 12PM EST and I only ever got an e-mail saying "Thanks for registering! We'll send another email when we review your receipt submission."

guys/gals remember the rules and regs page says it can take up to 3-5 DAYS. the people that got theirs early probably just lucked out.
