And all this, to prevent like 200 houses out of a couple thousand from being owned by solo FCs, most of which were likely legit at some point, but died out and transferred to someone that stuck around or came back from a break only to realize that they own a house now.

Do you have actual data to back that up that claim?

I get that everyone in this section is salty about housing, about the drought, the lack of access, even the low price threshold to get a house in the first place, but dunking on tiny FCs or solo FCs or making the entire playerbase pay taxes for a house is ridiculous.

If the FC has less than four members, IMO that FC should be disbanded. SE should also look into making FC things (like gardening and the workshop) available to players outside of housing.

The only way to resolve the current housing issues, is to add more housing. Everything else is just a bandaid fix that doesn't address the root cause of the issue.

Many have suggested adding instanced housing as a solution. Tbh, one thing won't fix it, and you will need to do many things to hope to fix the situation, and likely course correct between steps.

Alternatively, a few more DCs in NA and EU are required anyway. That would help alleviate a lot of housing problems, and compensate for a playerbase that is likely to grow come the new expansion.[/QUOTE]

Same housing stats website as usual: Oliver's. 5% of the current number of plots would put that at 200-300 plots are owned by solo fcs.
