That and some colab stuff like the new Nier raid hairs. Every long hair we've gotten has been the devs trying to give players something in spite of that contest because they know they're releasing a lot of short hair.

We're finally free from the shadow of that contest and the mid long mined upcoming style already looks more interesting than most of the hairstyles post "form-n-function".
I was just going to post about the infamous design contest. I'm so glad they never did that kind of thing again after realizing most of the votes went out based on how much users like the art style rather than the concept itself. Looking through that relic is sad when so many interesting entries got buried because of poor artistic style

Also, clipping be damned. Viera only have two hair styles that don't clip into everything imaginable. It's fine, release the length!!
