Usually, it's always re-released with Gold Saucer events.
It wasn't released for a long time, people asked for it to be released and it was re-released.

No other reasons.

They could've released at the last Make it Rain, but they didn't... Just saying that it's way too much coincidence with the theory about the job being a scythe wielder and revealed in about 1 month.
