    Functionally I love Art of War. Chasing a tank in a dungeon and murdering the adds around you with Art of War is great. You can toss out heals and never miss a beat with your dps. It just looks so stupid to slide across the ground while kneeling. The animation doesnt make any sense for a spell that allows us to move. It's also got the highest potency of all spammable healer skills but if you looked at them all side by side you wouldn't know it by the animation. Holy looks incredibly poweful and Gravity too while Art of War is just something a Scholar does. It needs to look like Shadow Flare and linger slightly longer than the recast so you can see two up at the same time and trace where the Scholar has moved as they dance through the enemy AoEs. That would be fun.

    Its so out of place on sch. Why am I, the healer, running into the middle of the fight where the mobs are spamming are attacks on the tank and melee dps? it makes no sense. Just have us spam it from afar. If anything they should give it to monks since it makes more sense for them to slam their fist down to do aoe. Hell they could even fit it into their are rotation (arm of the destroyer into art of war into that are kick move).

    Give Miasma 2 a dot CD or somthing spamming it being hella close to the boss never feels good, as gravity casts at a distant and holy stuns

    It's honestly pretty boring, I prefer bane over tactical ground slap because at least it's satisfying to copy over your damage over time spells to tons of targets, while with ground slap it's just like "Well, I'm doing damage, I guess?"

    It's a very bland AoE, it isn't useful like Holy stun, doesn't look interesting like Gravity, it's literally just slapping the ground and a circle and numbers appear.

    Maybe if they revamped the animation and made the fairy copy it at reduced potency or something, it would actually be more fun to use, but right now it's just boring

    This would be super fun, especially if they just gave Miasma 2 as the fairy AoE. Something that would proc by chance after using Art of War to allow the DoT time to be useful between applications.

    Or she one-ups the caster and basically Stardivers at the target. Basically Lily lets out all her healer rage in one go.

    I really like the way you think. I agree. It needs something to make it feel more unique and interesting. Having the fairy copy it feels like something really only scholar can do... Going forward to having a fourth healer soon, we really need to think about ways to maintain strong identity in the healers.

    Personally I've always preferred how Scholar spells tend to, with some exception, have far less visual clutter. I do agree the ground slapping is a weird animation but I love the spell effect itself, a nice simple shockwave of magic.

    In my "If I could design Scholar" fantasies I would have Art of War have the old Bane effect baked in, with it perhaps doing more potency on targets (or generating fae gauge, since more ways of generating and using fae gauge is a cornerstone of said fantasies) already afflicted by dots. That way SCH retains it's fantasy of being the dot spreader dps without unnecessary clutter.

    And personally? Hot take. I hate Miasma II in it's Stormblood iteration, to me its the epitome of a hastily designed skill that was poorly implemented, one element of ShB SCH design I will die on the hill of was them replacing it. I think it's perfect as an AoE filler, and not usurping Ruin II's job as the weaving/movement tool for single target.
