A few complaints about the NieR Raid rewards on Part 3

I think people complaining were expecting a mount being that the raid is a cross over. Yo kai, FF15 and MH crossovers gave mounts, cant really fault people for expecting the Neir raid being a crossover to follow suit. As for the glam/gender lock thing well thats been a issue for long time so no surprise on that one. Though I feel everyone should hold off some and see what we get as reward for restoring komra..

The crystal tower could be called a cross over with ff3 and storm bloods was straight up a retelling of tactics with some 12 splashed in for flavor. Crossovers have never been a guarantee for a mount so it odd that suddenly this one not having one is such an issue

I wouldn't quite call it a retelling of tactics, a lot of things were different especially the ending. Definitely heavily tactics inspired though.

As for rewards, yeah I don't know why people would expect more than the usual for alliance raids. Sure we got something extra with the 2B coffer in the first raid, but the second raid had nothing out of the ordinary. This isn't a regular crossover event it's a series of alliance raids first and foremost.

Dragon Quest, FF13, FF11, GARO... mounts are by no means guaranteed for crossover events.

Never said they were as I only listed ones that did give a mount.

Everyone shitting on the fending and maiming sets, but as someone that loathe cosplaying as story characters I vastly prefer them, the fending legs and boots are easily the best pieces of the raid.

Never ever, the only thing 95% of us actually wanted.

That sword would've been nice to have.

The rewards could have been slightly better in my opinion but overall I don't think they were too bad. I don't care for the fending set though, so I'm going to focus my efforts on obtaining the aiming one. I actually really, really like that set. Will be going in on my BRD over the coming weeks until I get what I want/need.

Couple complaints I have with the Nier Raid series (like most other collaborations so far).

1) No 9S outfit (and gender locked)
2) Fending gear was utter trash in part I, II, and III (WHAT THE ACTUAL SQUEENIX)
3) YoshiP thought it was a brilliant idea to make the hairstyles in the raid sellable (which is basically the fastest track to RMT gil prices skyrocketing, instead of making it untradeable (like all the other hairstyles in many other places)
4) Yoko Taro copped out with the outfits (just like Capcom did with the Monster hunter World collaboration). Instead of giving us 9S outfits, they gave us the "possible" closest, but only for males. Capcom couldn't even give us that with the Rathalos gear (which would've been better than the garbage we got in there).

I seriously hope squeenix reconsiders any further collaboration. For some reason, they can't seem to TRY and make those available to BOTH GENDERS PROPERLY and make them the ACTUAL outfits (instead of coming up with some bullsh- excuse of "MUH LORE", which has always been the biggest excuse (considering how they tear the lore apart whenever possible). Meanwhile, Monster hunter world was given THE FULL DRACHEN DRG ARMOR AND GAE BOLG).

For the fending gear do you mean stats or look? I thought the first two fending sets were fien, but the third one was kind of too similar to the puppet's bunker sets IMO.

As for the hair prices, no it's not going to lead to RMT madness. The pricess have been plumetting on these hairstyles. It's not like RG where it's a rare drop, because they ALWAYS drop supply is outpacing demand leading to lower and lower prices, a trend that will continue as long as people are actively running this raid.
