And I'll argue they they are correct. You can solo all of coils at ilvl 510-520, this includes avatar.

Don't go ham on it before the towers spawn or it will straight up ballistics missile you. Go light on damage until they spawn.

Edit: At least going to 76-80% is a safe spot to stop at. I was in and out of T8 in under 2 minutes as RDM.

You can literally find solo clears of every Coil floor on YT, my dude.

If you’re talking about T11, you kill one side, use Return, and then kill the other side.

I think it’s awful that story content for example with coils is out because it does not go on the roulette and people miss out on the content. If it’s going to be like this Square needs to consider A.I party members.

I just did a whole series on my YT channel doing step by step how to solo coil because there is no need to have a party for it anymore if you have a basic understanding of the mechanics. It's terribly easy to do nowadays so no one really has to miss out just because it is not in a roulette. Same with the ARR extreme primals, lvl 50/60 and even some 70 dungeons, they can all be facerolled by any level 80, and in a few months at 90 it will be even easier.

I've got trouble doing the final second coil boss. For some reason I just can't get the rocks to fall in places where they don't instantly explode, solo, or with a group. With a solo, I know you just heal through the explosions with the RDM, but I honestly have no idea how you keep the golems from merging when 2 land in the center and merge instantly.

I don't do anything fancy. When it comes to golem meteors I kind of just run in a line (I never actually tested how much this effects things) but I usually kill off two asap so they do not merge. On the second golem set: When the meteors start to fall I run in a circle around the edge to get 3 of them spaced out. When meteors 4+ spawn I kind of just stand still and tank them all because we're that overgeared. Only reason I do it like that is so I can feed the last 3 meteors to the third golem (after killing off two) so that they don't explode by the phase transition. Probably not wholly necessary but I'd rather just take less damage and focus more on killing the boss since phase 2 doesn't allow you much time.

Edit: I run in a line through the middle of the arena for golems, I drop meteors around the edges of the arena using the floor as a guide. Should be more than enough time to dispatch them as they are assembling.
