Gil sinks

It's a good idea to have more gil sinks. The main things removing gil from the game are house purchases and relocations (rare), teleports and repairs (cheap) and the market board tax. Recolored mounts, bardings and minions are probably easy to develop and I'm hoping to see plenty of them in the future. Making gil wasn't very useful before but now, with gil sinks, it has an end goal.

it's just the gil sinks need to be something more unique esp where mounts/minions are concerned. recolors/copies of existing mounts make them less desirable/have diminishing returns. however they are "easier" to program/develop.

Paying rent on houses... like 3millions for a large 2millions for a medium and 1million for a cottage per month... would also be a good gil sink

I bet a white recolor of the Centurio Tiger and a white recolor of the Twintania mount (that dragon from the fates in Chruning Mists) are desirable enough. Bird of Paradise (S rank) as a mount maybe? It's basically just a Firebird reskin.

There are options for cool mounts they can add with minimal effort, but they choose to go for obnoxious gold >.>

Think they are pressed for resources on developing assets like glam items ever since they pushed Viera and Hrothgar. The fact the judge armor doesn't include a split cape for races with tails is a pretty obvious component of this, as they are relying on just getting a single model out and having it sort of mold to fit most of the races.

They've been ignoring tails since ARR, though. The Ironworks gear, most of the artifact sets, and all of the Crystal Tower gear sets, at the least, just let tails clip through and hope you don't pay too much attention to it. Not to mention the Evenstar set, which just looks.....really awkward and uncomfortable.

Gil sinks are nice, but if you already have that money from years of playing you just buy them and forget it exists again.
Like a lot of things in this game that they are adding to late or with minimal effort..

I'm fine with recolors or copies if the thing it is copying is hard/rare to get. An example of this recently is the Construct VI-S mount; I don't mind doing Frontlines but I hate the map that's associated with, so I gladly went and got that version.

they also have to be careful not to hand out a recolor/gold color of something that is hard to grind to get either. that will diminish the effort of the original. I can't see them doing that to a hunt mount or RAF mount.

My money is currently at 21 million but I just don't know what to buy, hahah.

I don't know if its worth it to buy hairstyle that cost 9 million or various mounts in the millions too.... Well, maybe right now that is all that my money should be directed to... I don't know.
